The best way to celebrate your new little bundle of joy is with a sweet Eden Blue newborn shoot. We have the goods... soft wraps, lovely bows, textured blankets, knit hats, flokatis, and loveys... all in a variety of earthy tones, whites, and neutrals. Each newborn session is customized to you, based on colors and styles you love. Mom, dad, and other siblings are welcome to join in the fun to make this a special photo shoot for you to cherish.

What To Expect From Your Eden Blue Photography Newborn Session:

Every session is customized to you. We will photograph your baby in colors and styles that work with your home & nursery color palette, and tones that suit your own personal taste. 

Variety is key. Unlike many other photographers that only give you a handful of images, our average newborn gallery is around 200 gorgeous images. And they are all yours to keep! We put a lot of value in providing you with a great selection of images including a full range of color, b&w, and enhanced images.

We have the goods. Jennifer has dozens of handmade sweet newborn hats, wool & faux fur blankets and rugs, and soft textured swaddles and wraps. Generally, she shoots with soft, pretty colors like white, gray, sand, soft pink, and baby blue, which lend themselves naturally to documenting a newborn. But we also have some richer tones available if you have a darker color scheme you'd like to work with. 

Experience and safety are so important when handling your sweet baby. Jennifer has been photographing newborns for many years, and she has two children of her own. So she knows how to position the baby safely, how to keep them warm, and how to soothe the baby effectively.

Family pics are included. We love documenting images of the whole family snuggling, or big bro/sis kissing the new baby, or mama lovin' on her precious little bundle.

We have all the time in the world. Jennifer builds in a buffer of time around the session time slot. The average newborn session is about 2 hours, but in case we need a little extra time for feedings or loving, there is absolutely no rush. 

Every gallery will include several images of your baby wrapped in cute swaddles with and without hats and bows, a variety of family pics with your newborn, some pure, simple images of your little peanut mostly naked on fresh, white blankets, and the baby wrapped on a flokati holding a bear lovey or in a cute basket. Full naked baby and/or baby propped on hands can be accommodated upon request, if time allows.

The Process After Your Photography Session:

Once your images have been edited and toned, you will receive a login for your personal viewing gallery. You will choose a Print Package that works for you. We do require a minimum order of a Print Package (or an à la carte order that equals $199) , to ensure that you are receiving beautifully finished wall art that has been professionally retouched and printed.

Once your Print Package order has been submitted we will start working on your order, and all your high res images will be available for download from your viewing site at that time. I know... it's fantastic! As you shop around, you will see this is a huge added extra. 

We include professional retouching (take out blemishes, red marks, dry skin, etc.) on all the images you select for your Print Package. And as an added bonus, we give you Jennifer's top five selections with pro retouching early! So you can start sharing cute pics of your little bug right away! These five images will be fully retouched as well! So in total, over a dozen images will be professionally retouched, and it is no problem to get more if you would like.

Getting Set Up For Your Session:

Be sure to book your session early. We generally book up about 3 weeks to a few months out depending on the season. We prefer to photograph newborns at 5-10 days. So take your due date, add five days, and book it. And then as it gets closer, if the baby comes early or late, then we just move your session accordingly. No biggie! We leave some wiggle room in our schedule to accommodate early or late babies, but we cannot always guarantee that we can get you in last-minute if you didn't book ahead.

To schedule a session, please utilize the "Schedule a Session" tab on this website. You will be asked to put in your information to set up your appointment, as well as a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold your time slot. Session times can be changed or altered without losing your deposit. However, there is a fee to reschedule several times or for no-shows/cancellations.
